Google Pixel 3 could feature 53-inch display without a notch, Pixel 3 XL tipped to sport 62-inch notch display

Google is expected to launch the Pixel 3 series of smartphones at its hardware event which is usually hosted around October. There have been some reports on the upcoming devices and in almost all of them, there was mention of a notch on the display of the bigger Pixel 3 XL smartphone. Well, we can add one more to the list as Steve H (@OnLeaks) has also reiterated the same. As per his tweet, the Pixel 3 could feature a 5.3-inch screen without a notch on top, whereas the bigger Pixel 3 XL might come with an approximately 6.2-inch display size and a notch. A previous report claims that the display panels for the Pixel 3 smartphones are being manufactured by LG. We just hope that there are no Pixel 2 XL-like display issues this time. The Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will reportedly come with an OLED panel and the larger Pixel variant might feature a notch on top, whereas the smaller Pixel 3 is said to feature an 18:9 display aspect ratio, without the notch. The two devices could be designed completely by Google, but the company is said to outsource the manufacturing to a subsidiary of Foxconn, FIH Mobile. Rumours suggest that the larger Pixel 3 XL might be priced higher this time around as an OLED panel with the notch can cost up to 25 percent more compared to a standard OLED panel. In terms of design, a previous report tips that the Pixel 3XL might feature a “nearly edge-to-edge” display with a notch on top and a front-facing speaker on the bottom chin. Previously leaked images of screen-guard and covers of the device tip at dual front-facing cameras and a single rear sensor on the phones.
