Oppos next flagship Find X will be launched on June 19 in Paris

A day after an alleged image of the Oppo Find X surfaced online revealing the phone's key design, the Chinese phone manufacturer has announced that its new futuristic flagship smartphone will be unveiled at the world famous Louvre Museum in Paris on June 19. Before sending the e-invitation, Oppo on June 1 revived and restarted the Find series via its official website and social media channels, including on its Indian Twitter page. This was followed by some key spec revelations by a tipster who suggested that the device would come with high-end features. Images of the Oppo Find X were also leaked by the tipster on Chinese microblogging platform Wiebo. According to the leaked image, the phone sports a vertically aligned dual camera setup with an LED flash beneath it. The back panel has a constellation-type design and a light at the bottom -- similar to the one that was fitted on the chin of the Oppo Find 7. It does not have a visible fingerprint scanner and seems to have 3D face scanning feature. The device is also seen with a small-sized notch at the top of the display. Further, the information revealed that the Oppo Find X will arrive with a 6.42-inch display sporting a 2K resolution, however, it was not confirmed whether the phone uses an LCD or an OLED display. The Find series has been famous for its configuration, innovative technology and artistic design. The latest phone in the Find series comes four years after the last 'Find' branded device was launched. Oppo had unveiled Find 7 in 2014 and claimed that with only five minutes of charging, the phone delivered two hours of phone calls thanks to fast charging technology called VOOC flash charging. To date, VOOC flash charging technology has served more than 100 million users worldwide, with the number still rising, Oppo claimed. The company had launched Find X903, the first Find product in June 2011 with a side-sliding qwerty keyboard design. Later it launched Finder with a 6.65 mm body in 2012. The product was claimed to be the thinnest in the world at the time. Following this, the company released Find 5 with a 1080P resolution screen.
